Here is a list of 25 things to do if you want to have a Christmas like ours!
1. Find a tree, shove it in the trunk of the Honda and pray it doesn't fall out on the way home!
2. Teach Mr.Stevens how to fluff the tree so it looks nice and full!
3. Put on The Office Christmas episode to make Mr.Stevens feel like he is still in control and not doing girly things(decorating).
4. Add the big bow with streamers like my mom always did!
5. Turn the lights on after all of the ornaments for the lovely grand finale!
6. Be sure to have a "Our First Christmas Together 2008" ornament! Mickey and Minnie is the best choice! Available at Macy's.
7. Be sure to pick your ribbon first then add ornaments that match it! You have to have a theme!
8. Add presents early to motivate Mr.Stevens to not wait until the last minute to go shopping. (To trick him, you can even put dvds in bigger boxes. Muhahha.)
9. Make yummy pretzel sticks for friends as a thank you and dinner parties!
10. Make yummy cupcakes for the kids!
11. Be sure to make snow men crazy eyed photographers. Copyrights belong to Jeremy Stevens.
12. Tell Mr.Stevens that whatever cookies are broken are his. He will never turn you down on helping.
13. Get a countdown for the fridge, a Mickey one.
14. Use Mr.Stevens' old apartment Christmas tree in the kitchen. Put a Pilsbury Dough Boy ornament on the top and lots of (fake) candy and cookies on it!
15. Make the kitchen table very festive. Put your old place mats under the new ones and use the old ones when you eat spaghetti.
16. Get out those Christmas thingies that you bought in Russia when you traveled together before you were married!
17. Put ornaments and random bows everywhere!
18. When you see any cop Santa's buy them! Mr.Stevens will be one in 3 months!!
19. Make a wreath for the door and get those pretty spiral trees on sale at Target! (If you have more funding than us, go crazy with Christmas lights in the front yard. We are trying to save so maybe next year!)
20. Get out the good stuff you found garage sale-ing with Grandma! Santa is stuck in our window! (Purchased for 25 cents!)
21. Get a $5.00 advent calender & be excited about the whole situation. Everyday open the little window together and split the piece of chocolate!
22. Make a cute Santa napkin for the oven. Get flour on it like I did.
23. Dress up your staircase. Add baby ornaments to the garland.
24. Put out the stocking that your husband's Mom cross stitched for you!
25. Last but not least, add Santa's everywhere! (Purchased for 25 cents at the same garage sale!)

Cute! I love your house decorations. Congrats on your 1st married Christmas together! I can't believe this year is almost over!!
